Fall Fluorescence

Share
The brilliant red hues of this maple tree near UT's Memorial Fieldhouse caught my eye today, and I had to snap a picture. I don't think my point-and-click digital camera quite caught the moment, but the tree almost seemed to be on fire.

I would like to claim the inspiration as my own, but I might not have paid as much attention to these leaves had a watercolor artist not set up a canvas to depict the same scene.

I'm jealous. I wish I could have been outside today instead of stuck in the library. :(

Oh well, I'm glad someone enjoyed the day!
