Tornado Season Arrives in Northwest Ohio

A series of storms moved into Northwest Ohio this afternoon, bringing heavy rain, 2-inch hail, and reports of tornado touchdowns.

I get a bit freaked when the emergency sirens blare, and I gathered up the kids and head to the basement to wait out the storms.

The news stations have viewer-supplied images of hail the size of tennis balls and ominous-looking clouds. If you are reading this in Northwest Ohio and somehow missed the warnings, take your laptop to the basement, Bubba.

At least you were able to get the kids to go to the basement. My two "kids" or rather dogs wanted to go outside instead of going to the basement when the sirens went off.
