World Market Systems

Share
Those of you who are looking to start and operate a home-based business should pay a visit to the website of World Market Systems, an internationally recognized company that develops web based software for small to medium sized businesses worldwide. Founded in 2002, WorldMarketSystems has created and currently hosts over 50,000 websites.

World Market Systems built its business on the idea that there is a high demand for creating state-of-the-art websites. This is for the simple reason that most people who want to make money from home simply lack the knowledge and expertise to build their own websites from scratch.

And let's face facts - we have all come across owner-designed websites that were so amateurish and hard to navigate that our eyeballs began to protest and our heads began to ache. Instead, prospective business owners ought to turn to an expert like World Market Systems, which will do all the work to set you up with an excellent website to make money in the affiliate business.

This company will give you access to a corporate coach who can help you understand how to advertise your product or service. They will also offer you a selection of premium advertising products and e-Tools if you desire such amenities. It takes an eye-catching website, popular affiliates, repetitive advertising, and a some patience to build an online business, and World Market Systems will help you navigate through unfamiliar waters in your quest to develop a profitable home-based business. World market systems is a scam. The scum of the earth are involved with this so called "multi million dollar company" who claim to be affiliated with Sony, Amazon, E-Bay and Travelocity. They will tell you and promise you all kinds of bullshit and then ask you for your credit card information over the phone. Don't be stupid. Never give your D.O.B and credit card info to a complete stranger over the phone! They will give you a fake address and try to convince you to give them your money. How does a "multi million dollar company" not know their address off hand. When I asked Jim Garity for the address he didn't even know it and had to "go get it". What Bullshit!!!!

NOW I AM FEELING WORRIED
Hi everyone, I have just purchased the silver package from WMS.I did pay $100 for my package via credit card, it took me a week, with numerous calls to and from Richard Pitts, over that week to convince me, and my calls to him were full of qusetions. My wife and I sat and talked about it, she is in Market Advertising, and would be able to help me post on serch engines for free.So I went for it,I got the welcome call from them, and a couple e-mails,but no call from a coach. So I called them and was connected to a Coach (Robert).he told me it was going to cost me another $475 to get the Proper Advertising, I said foreget it, my wife can do alot, and his whole attitude changed with me. I am not going to invest anymore money in them at this point, and my wife has been able to get My Main Website page up and advetised on many serch engines, one being Google.I called back and put a complaint in to customer service, and at that time they also told me about there Free Advertising. So I am trying that, they also gave me 1 more Affiliate, now i have Amazon and Travelocity.I am getting alot of hits on all sites, but havent made money to date yet, I have also got some other affiliates on my page that are free, you just have to serch for them.I WILL NOT SPEND ANYMORE MONEY, want to see if this works, and if it does GREAT, and if not, will persue this to the fullest via a Lawyer.
I have been to alot of sites, and read alot of Scam mail now, about this Company, I have run a Check on them through The Better Business Brueau, up here in Canada, and they are there, have had 2 complaints on them, but both have been Rectified. I will stay in touch with this Board and post every once and a while to let you know whats going on.I am a little Skeptical at this point, but havent invested alot of money, AND WONT,
Yours Trully

Thanks for the above information. When I reviewed the site, I was unaware of the company's reputation. I have no affiliation with World Market Systems, and I am sad to read that the company seems to be engendering such vitriol.

BTW - I decided to donate the small fee I received for this review to the Wikipedia Foundation, a worthwhile group that promoted transparency and universal information access. It seemed like an appropriate use, given the murkiness of WMS.

I agree with most of you. World Market System is totally a scam! I have been fortunate enough to only waste $99 for silver program, otherwise I would have been wasting several thousand dollars more. I should have taken a cautious approach but instead I immediately jumped at their offers. So always research online before planning to join any money making online offers.

So beware of them approaching you by a telephone call. And never ever give them your credit card numbers.

Hi Mike
I have invested $5,000 AUD in WMS and recieved $10 USD. This is a Scam
I do not want my name printed, because I have ongoing advertising with WMS. If they find out you complained, they will cut you off and not return your calls or your money.

Australia.

Anonymous said...

I'm in Australia have just paid Just under $300 for web site, and have just had a call from Robert at WMS, He suggested I pay a further for advertising, I don't know what to do, after reading all the comments on this page. Has anyone made significant money with this? Specially after purchasing advertising traffic from WMS, please some one let me know before I sink more money into this, and then again, who do you believe?

Anonymous said...

DON'T!!!! Don't send these thieves another dime - they will promise and never deliver!

I lost over $2000 US on these bastards and have nothing but an amateurish website for my money.

Anonymous said...

Do NOT give WMS any more of your money they are a BIG Scam!!!!!

GH said...

Hi, I am also an Australian and am currently discussing the advertising packages with a WMS 'coach' - I am supposed to call her back in half an hour to let her know which package I have chosen. Well, after reading all this (and various other posts)I won't be choosing ANY of the packages. Thank you so much for setting my mind at rest. I really need to INCREASE my income, not reduce it by paying out thousands to someone else.
Is there any way to request a refund for the 'website' they have set up for me? I paid for the Gold package about 3 weeks ago?

"World Market Systems" are a bunch of rip off artists that should be stopped immediately if not sooner.
I don't know how they are allowed to continue their raping and pillaging of the public.
Anyone affiliated with them should be wearing a bandanna, a mask and gun, and a LOSER stamp on their forehead.

Will Spender said...

After speaking with a rude sales rep from World Market System, I started getting calls from (602)343-2228. I called the Customer Service and found that these 2 number were linked ,from same message about a hold for a coach and the same hold music . So what i did was I Google searched the number and thought this creative idea to get at them.

GIVE THIS A TRY .
(I cut and pasted this)

Got the same number calling me. His name is Steve Davis, selling internet ad packages. Want to have some fun back at them? If you have an internet phone or internet fax. set them to dial the number every 2 minutes until you stop it. My system has been calling for 13 days now. thousands of calls and faxes. The lady "Amber" who always answer "thank you for calling customer, how, this is Amber, how can I help you", is so frustrated with me calling, she was screaming to stop calling us!. The internet phone and faxes don't charge you per call or per page. so the sky is the limit.

Just been contacted over the past week and was reallt tempted to join but there was something niggling at me telling me not to. I told him to ring me back and I will have an answer tomorrow and he was not at all happy. He changed completely. Thank goodness I googled and found this site - I certainly will not be joining up now after what I have been reading. My husband and I have just retired and were looking for a little something "extra". We don't have any spare cash to invest so I think it would be totally useless to continue. Thanks heaps

MURRAY FROM DOWNUNDER..
Well i did not buy,Stu called and pressured me and then dropped the price, I asked if there would be any ongoing or extra costs and he said there would be no ongoing costs, thankfully my generator broke down so i could not transfer money online, when i had power again I googled before deciding to buy and found heaps of sites bagging this mob.
So if a Stu calls you or some other nonse from WMS tell them u spoke to Murray from Downunder, dosnt sound like Stu knows what he is selling, so if a company dosnt spend time training their employees then they dont give a shit about their customers... and... when Stu rang back i told him i had googled his company and asked asked me what google was..i hung up and he immediatly phoned back and insisted that the silver package was for me and i should give him my credit card details... so i asked for a contract and he put me on hold and hung up.
BUYER BEWARE...DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK..

Thankyou so much for having this forum up! I had a call this morning and was really keen to join, but as soon as I said i have to speak to my husband before spending the money his attitude completely changed. he was quite rude, saying "tell me exactly how you'll explain it to your husband. you wont do it properly and he'll say no." and the most offensive "are you scared he'll tell you off for spending his money? what kind of a husband is that?" when i said it wasn't about being told off, it was about consideration for my partner he basically scoffed at me. thank god he was rude, or i would've just called my husband to tell him i was doing it and then signed up. his rudeness and pushiness made me reconsider and google them. and all i've found so far is everyone saying its a scam. THANKYOU!!!

furious said...

Can anyone tell me how to get a refund from those bastards? I've been calling them as soon as I learned from this post that WMS IS A SCAM!!! All was true about those assholes. Now, I always end up on their voice mail every time I call them to get my money back. Please tell me what to do. Anyone?

furious said...

Finally, I've reached one of them and they told me to call their customer service tomorrow about the refund. Let's see what will happen. If I can't get my money, I want justice! By the way, I'm from Australia. I just want to earn some extra income to help my hubby pay the bills. I've trusted WMS and look what they did?

Anonymous said...

oh shit. Im australian and just signed up for a silver package yesterday. I felt unsure and nervous even though (Damien Davis) was very good at explaining it to me. He only mentioned the $20 annual fee that was to be paid for the website, that was all.
Crap, what do i do now.

Anonymous said...

Gosh ... I was thinking about signing up today now I won't. Talk about hard sell. Guess they want you to sign up on the spot so you don't have a chance to Google them!

furious said...

Here's the update:
In order to get my refund I contacted the customer service which unfortunately, always busy and not contactable. I did not even received any call from them again. So what I did, I called my credit card to dispute the transaction and we succeeded. This week I received a call and an e-mail from Gary convincing me to advertise and to assist me with no cost. He even tell me that I will not get my refund if I will not do advertisement with them. What a bastard! However, I totally refused to do it because I don't want to make money at the expense and misfortune of innocent victims like me that will fall on these promising advertisements. No amount of money is worthy to people who have good conscience. So what, if he will not give my refund, I'll do what it takes to get back what is rightfully mine. I will take appropriate actions on these matter. I pray that GOOD will prevail in the end. I'll keep all of you updated.

I really need help, I spend A LOT OF MONEY, and they were for my university tuition fee. I really thougth that this was going to help me pay my studies, which are so expensive as an International student. I am in Australia too, has anyone got their money back?? I feel so stupid for believing in this people.

Hey Folks, got some news on WMS. I read all the coments and seems like everybody is bad mouthing them. Which I don't blame you because when I joined WMS back in 2004, I to went through problems with them. And when they asked me for more money from me for advertising, I said "No way! This is all you get, start making me the money. A whole year went by and I didn't see a dime come in for me. Then 'finally' a paycheck arrived for $40. Then nothing for a month, and then a $90 check. After that, I decided to call it quits because the money coming in for me was peanuts. I can probably make more money sitting on the curb holding out a hat. BUT, when I canceled WMS, the guy told me that I would be refunded $2,600. About a month later I did receive my check. Thank God! I got a large portion of my money back.

Anonymous said...

Hi I come from Australia and joined up with WMS about a year ago. I have earned commissions every month and each month I have WMS and Paypal inform me by e-mail that I got payment. So far I have earned in the vicinity of $3,000 dollars. My next commission check is waiting to be paid and I will receive it on the 1st of Sept, this one is worth around $700.00. If you had noticed they don't say this is a get rich scheme like any business you have to work it and it will work for you.

There is a bureau of Investigation online if you think they are a scam then report them to the right authority don't just complain on scam clubs websites or blog sites. Remember have your facts straight because should it turn out that you are wrong lo and behold you will be up for an expense you wish you never started.

I have no complaints about WMS.

I signed up with WMS about a year ago and have been making a lucrative income with them. If you have a complaint about a company don't gripe about it, just report them to the Internet Investigative bureau - Google it to get an address.

Often we forget the little guy, the SMB, in our discussions of the comings and goings of the Internet marketing industry. Sure there are times like this when a report surfaces talking about their issues and concerns but, for the most part, we like to talk about big brands and how they do the Internet marketing thing well or not so well.
